Tommaso Casoni
Tommaso assists Italian and foreign clients in judicial and extrajudicial matters of civil law, including drafting of contracts, domestic and international commercial disputes (also under the ICC arbitration rules), tort liability, bank law (including the management of NPL’s/UTP’s and the analysis of potential breaches of their representations & warranties), private international law, succession, property and tenancy disputes, as well as compliance issues.
Tommaso has provided legal assistance to a Special Servicer in relation to the top secured loans (NPLs) of its portfolio for a total gbv of ca. € 200 million and carried out a due diligence for an asset management company on the top 500 NPLs and UTPs of its portfolios (including leasings, secured and unsecured loans) for a total gbv of € 3.5 billion.
Tommaso believes in Alternative Dispute Resolution and, in that view, helps its clients to evaluate the risks of litigation and to adopt the best possible strategy based on early case legal assessments which anticipate the possible outcomes of the case (best case scenario, most likely case scenario, worst case scenario). He has been on secondment to pre-eminent industrial and asset management clients of the Firm in Florence, Milan and Turin.
